Expedition Itinerary
Pickup from Leh Airport and transfer to hotel. Traditional welcome. Complete rest is mandatory today to adapt to the high altitude (11,500 ft). Evening visit to Shanti Stupa and Leh Market if health permits. Dinner and stay in Leh.
After breakfast, drive along the Indus river on the Leh-Srinagar Highway. Visit Hall of Fame (War Memorial), Magnetic Hill, and Pathar Sahib Gurudwara. Witness the Sangam (Confluence of Zanskar & Indus Rivers). Return to Leh.
Drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft), one of the world's highest motorable roads. Visit Diskit Monastery and enjoy a camel ride on the double-humped Bactrian Camels at Hunder Sand Dunes. Overnight stay in Camps/Cottages.
Drive to Turtuk, the last village on the India-Pakistan border (Baltistan region). Experience the unique Balti culture and apricot orchards. Return to Hunder/Nubra for overnight stay.
Drive to Pangong Lake via the Shyok river route. This famous color-changing lake sits at 14,270 ft. Enjoy the sunset by the lake (famous 3 Idiots spot). Overnight stay in Camps/Cottages near the lake.
Witness the mesmerizing sunrise at Pangong. Drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass (17,590 ft). Visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace en route. Reach Leh by evening. Dinner and stay.
Early morning transfer to Leh Airport (KBR). Fly back home with memories of the Himalayas.

Important Advisory
AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness): Ladakh is a high-altitude region. It is strictly advised to take complete rest on Day 1. Drink plenty of water (3-4 Liters/day).
Documents: Original Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/Passport is mandatory for Inner Line Permits.
Connectivity: Only Postpaid SIM cards (BSNL, Jio, Airtel) work in Leh. Connectivity is limited in Nubra and Pangong.
